AP Chemistry Reactions

This app helps students learn chemistry and prepare for their exams with beautiful, interactive simulations and thorough quizzes after each section.

Built almost entirely in SwiftUI, with some usage of UIKit and SpriteKit for advanced visualisations.

There are many interesting visualisations, all focused around a common beaker: a grid of molecules, a macroscopic view with dynamic colours, bouncing molecules, dissolving solute particles, a growing precipitate, and more.

Outside of the beaker, there are several interactive tools, such as sliders, burners, liquid droppers, and scales. There are also containers which move and drop molecules into the beaker in response to motion.

The app features seamless animations and user interaction, with detailed interactive graphs. Scrub through many of the reactions using SwiftUI’s automatic UI synchronisation for a wonderful user experience.

Support for VoiceOver has been meticulously added throughout the app, including all equations and graphs. Available for iOS and iPad.
